* BEECH Beech is considered the ideal firewood because it gives a beautiful flame and good embers almost without sparks and it also has a very high calorific value.
The energy / calorific contribution of beech wood is often cited as a reference compared to other woods.
Its smell is generally very appreciated, which is why the smoking of foodstuffs is mainly done on beech wood.
* Extra dry OAK (minimum 18 months), SB Heating oak logs come from sustainably managed French forests from Franche Comté, Vosges and Jura. Oak is a dense wood that produces beautiful embers when used.
It offers optimal combustion for a high calorific value. Producing little smoke, oak firewood burns slowly and does little to soil your installation.
* CHARM Hard hardwood, the charm is therefore an ideal wood for your heating: it will provide you with intense and lasting heat. A kilo of charm will thus offer 4.2 kWh of heat.
But charm wood also offers many other advantages: it does not burst in the heat and can therefore be used safely in an open fireplace; it gives off few sparks; it offers a flame that is pleasing to the eye.
CHARM, YES, BUT DRY If you can therefore, without problems, set your sights on charm for your wood heating, do not forget that it must have a humidity level of less than 20% to deliver all its qualities.
